glow in the dark planties

sense :: hearing // Deadbeats – Enter the Redman

I went to bed early last night; way too early; falling asleep around 9PM. I suppose it’s just what I needed, since I had incredibly lucid and realistic dreams over the course of the evening, some of them causing me to wake up at least once. I guess I really needed the rest and my brain really needed to let some of that stuff out. Maybe I should do it again tonight.

I think I’ve posted this before but I’m not entirely sure; The top ten peeves of a support technician is absolutely hilarious, mostly because it’s so so very true.

This tidbit about the new window displays at several Apple Stores is hilarious-especially the fake shattered window right in front of the new iPod HiFi. It’s perfect.

Also, a plant that glows when its thirsty? Even I could take care of that! Although I’m a little worried about the glowyness…that can’t be natural, can it?

Another lesson I’ve learned today is apparently not to pay down my credit card or I’ll get Homeland Security’d. Seriously, that’s just ridiculous. I can’t think of a single valid security reason why DHS needs to be notified if someone tries to pay off their credit card debt. I’ll remember that when I make payments over my regular monthly payment to pay in small installments every week until my card is paid off; that’s just silly. If I won the lottery and wanted to pay off my credit cards, I should be able to do so without being “investigated.” Maybe that investigation comes with free wiretaps. Never know these days.

In other news, the new displays should be delivered today. I’m back to obsessively tracking packages, which is a pastime I definitely enjoy. It really does help pass the time. That being said, I think I’m due for a nice long lunch.
