hearing // Digital Underground – Do What Ya Like

First, let me state for the record, as I have before, life finds a way. Sometimes, like in this case, it’s incredibly amusing! In other cases, it needs our help, but in both cases, it makes me happy.

Is it wrong that I look at that picture and feel so completely jealous that the person whose desk that is has obviously enough light to have a plant, and actually has a desk for themselves? Yeah, I am.

In other news and entertaining video watching, I happened across something for the video game fanatics in the audience on a site I peruse every now and again, Kotaku, which presents us with a hilarious mashup of Street Fighter 2 and Duck Hunt in the form of Ryu Hunts Ducks. For the anime fans who are also video game fans, you might appreciate this mashup of clips from the Cowboy Bebop movie with vocals and music from Grand Theft Auto: Vice City in the form of Grand Theft Bebop: Vice City.

In other news, I’m still stoked for Otakon, but I shouldn’t discount Raevyn’s birthday, since it is next Saturday, after all. With any luck, we’ll be having a little shindig in her honor.

I hope you don’t mind, but I just posted that Mac link to LJ’s buried in green (with credit to you).

I’m buried in work, but wanted to check in to tell you I have been reading your political posts lately . . . always interesting.

    Otakon. HAT time! 😉

::grin:: I never mind things like that! I’m glad I’m just glad I can share something interesting, feel free to pass it around! ^^

I hope your work lightens up soon; it is the weekend, after all! And as always, thank you for reading Notsohumble; I had a little vitrolic posting blitz last week, but given some more recent global events (eg Israel, Lebanon, and the possibility of open war in the middle east) I sense a less venomous tone in the coming articles….

AH! Hat time! Thank you for reminding me! If I can find it, Kuri and I will be hat twins by the end of the con!
