Halloween’s definitely sneaking up on us this year. We haven’t carved pumpkins or bought candy or anything. Although I have to admit that I’d very much love a Dalek pumpkin, I don’t know if I have the time or the effort to put into making one.

Still, he’s adorable. So cute. So deadly.

In other news, I really dig some of the new stuff that ThinkGeek put out today, like this bluetooth handset, which I thought was all manner of cool, even though I don’t think I’d want to own one. I mean, it’s cool for that retro feel, but I really wouldn’t like to go back to that aching neck feeling of having your handset cradled between your ear and your shoulder. Ouch.

I’m really looking forward to the weekend, even though tomorrow will be my first maintenance night at the new job, meaning I get to stay late (probably around midnight) and help reboot and patch the servers with everyone else that’ll be in late to help. On the up side, I don’t have to come into the office until about 2pm, so that’s something at least, even if it’ll completely eat my Friday night. It’s not too bad though, we usually just grocery shop on Friday and crash early to catch up on sleep, so I think it’ll be okay. Still, if I’m online, talk to me. I get the feeling I’ll be kinda bored.

    That meat thermometer just adds the perfect touch.

    ::giggle:: indeed we do!

    I thought the same thing about the appendages too! They’re just too perfect! Not threatening, perfectly in place, and they just work!

    And no worries about the balloons or your timing-like I said, there’ll be more celebration to come, it’s just a matter of when, so if you’re late, I’m later. ::hugs::
