Ah, the weekend. Another several days to escape from werk, perhaps to indulge the more creative or the more interesting of my ideas and pastimes. I did manage to finish the last homewerk in my last masters seminar today, so that should be it for the most part until the end of the course; and if that’s the case, all I have to do then is wait for graduation. You guys have no idea how much of a relief it is to have my masters degree off my back.
Now all I have to do is come back for my doctorate at some point. I have a few ideas, but I think I need a little time off and a job that will, as Pastilla pointed out to me, facilitate my research and help me get that degree.
But anyway. Last night I managed to finally get around to uploading some photos of the Opening Ceremonies when my MacBook Pro finally came in the mail. My precious Io, how I love thee. I took way too many pictures; like this one for example:
Click on her to get to the full gallery. One thing I love about having a modern Macintosh though, is that when I look at all those shiny Mac magazine that I like to read now and again, the CDs that come with them are actually useful to me for a change.
Anyway, while you’re over at Photowerks, check out the photos of the Cherry Blossom Festival I took two weeks ago; we were thinking about going back, but eh-last weekend and this one will probably be packed, and I for one would sacrifice full bloom for having the entire Tidal Basin to ourselves.
Pure. HOTNESS.
Beloved, I hate to tell you this…But I think I’m in love with Io.
::giggle:: You and me both!
Clucks. This is how polyamorous relationships begin, you know.
Oops. That was supposed to read ::clucks::
Looks like I called you both “clucks”!
::grin:: I don’t mind! I’ll take it as a term of endearment!
And I don’t know, I don’t think Io would object….
